Yes. Starter, Workflow and Studio each start with a 14-day free trial of the plan you choose, with its full allowances. You add a payment card when you start, and £0 is due that day. There's no free plan.

The plan you chose begins at its monthly or yearly price, plus VAT where applicable. We email you about 3 days before the trial ends, and if you cancel from Settings → Plan & Billing before then, you won't be charged. After that, your plan renews automatically each month or each year. Yearly plans also get a reminder email before they renew.

What each one helps you do. Starter organises your clinical photos. Workflow automates your everyday photography workflow and adds Clinical Series, for recognised clinical photography protocols. Studio is for turning your photography into a professional asset: everything in Workflow, with the largest batches, unlimited sharing and the most storage. AI Batch Sort, unlimited patient records, encryption and secure sharing come with every plan. The comparison above sets out the rest.

Workflow, Studio and Practice. With Clinical Series you organise a patient's photos into a recognised clinical photography protocol, view by view. Starter doesn't include it: you can still sort, store and share all your photos, and move up to Workflow from Settings → Plan & Billing whenever you want it.

One AI Batch Sort: the photographs you drop in together from several patients for SmileSort to sort. A batch can hold up to 30 photos on Starter, 100 on Workflow and 200 on Studio. Practice has no batch size. You can run as many batches as you like on every plan.

No. Uploading straight into one patient's record is unlimited on every plan — there's no batch size. Up to 200 photos go in at a time, as often as you like, and only your plan's storage applies.

Starter includes 10 new share links a month and Workflow 100. Studio and Practice are unlimited. Links you've already sent keep working when you reach your allowance, and it resets each month, on yearly billing too. Every link can be revoked, on every plan.

Yes, from Settings → Plan & Billing. Moving to a bigger plan takes effect straight away, and you pay the difference for the rest of your current billing period. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, and if you're using more than it allows, SmileSort tells you before you switch. A move between monthly and yearly billing starts at the end of your current billing period.

Yes, from Settings → Plan & Billing, and your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for. After that, your account is read-only for 30 days: you can sign in and export everything, but not upload or share. We email you during those 30 days. At the end of them, your photographs and patient records are permanently deleted.

Nothing you've already stored is affected. New uploads pause until you make space or move to a bigger plan. Your storage counts the photographs you keep, at the size they're stored — including photos waiting for your review and photos in Trash, which stay there for 28 days. Patient details and notes don't count.

Yes. Practice is £99 a month for the practice plus £50 a month for each clinician, from 2 clinicians — £199 a month for a team of 2. It's set up with our team rather than bought online: choose your team size and tell us about your practice.

Yes. As on every plan, paying yearly costs 10 months' price — 2 months free.
